It's fine with me as long as it's tasteful. The human figure can be very beautiful if you get the right light and pose, but too often I see smut poses or oversized and out of proportion breasts or some such. All too often the nudity is marred by the artist's juvenile mentality, but you do find those rare gems every so often that express the natural glory that humans can exist as.
It depends on the context and what is shown. I like the classical style nudes but I'm not a fan of over inflated boobs or focus on genitals! In the end though as others have said, it needs to fit the theme and feel comfortable within the theme.
I don't think they're as bad, but in my own work, I wouldn't do it. An open back doesn't bother me. I personally don't enjoy seeing anyone's tush, That kind of thing doesn't actually appeal to me. Shirtless guys are fine. I'm actually wanting to do a merman sometime soon.
That's why I say do what you want, because it's *your* artwork, not mine. I'm not going to tell you all this crap about stuff. Sure, I have my own beliefs, but I don't shove them down someone's throat. You're free to express yourself as you choose. I just allow my beliefs to be reflected in my artwork, and make sure I don't harm someone with them.
yeah, I was just asking anyway and I found it was an interesting question for a poll Besides it's easier to work with naked people when you want to manipulate parts of their body, that's the main reason why I'm working with nudes.
i love nude pictures if they are decent and bit provocative... i mean if the model is naked but i dont see tabuized parts of body... if that parts are hidden by small piece of cloth or something u know
