Hey everybody!

We promised to revive the space art scene and we want to keep our word. The first big project I can announce is that we will have Space art week from May 2 to May 8 over at projecteducate!

During Space art week we will post 1-2 articles per day on space art related topics. These can cover anything from artist interviews, to informative articles or tutorials. The week is hosted in collaboration with projecteducate, where the articles will be posted. Projecteducate is a project launched by community relations to promote and support artistic growth and knowledge throughout the community. What better way is there to get attention and spread the word about space art than to host a space art week? :-)

What we could use is your participation! We cannot write all articles on our own. If you want to be included in the project, drop us a note or a comment with your article idea (you'd also be the writer) as soon as possible. :)

These are some of the articles we have covered so far
  • Q&A with surprise space art veteran
  • History of space art
  • Nebula painting tutorial
  • Guide to nebulae
  • Vue for terraspace
  • physics of gas giants
  • Astonomical objects and artist interpretations
  • Traditional techniques for space art

Thanks for your time!

If it is of any interest, it could be awesome if I could create a guide to the colors of the light of suns in space, and also the colors of the particles that make up i.e. a nebula. It's all about physics which the geek in me really finds fascinating !:happybounce:
