Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

About my poll + features

I hope you know that my poll was actually pure sarcasm and in my opinion all of these options deserve to be called "art". I had the impression you still were taking this poll quite seriously, and I'm a bit surprised about the result.
Many of you voted for Fan-Art, however, I think I have to disagree with that. The fact that you have to create a certain character or scene doesn't necessaryly imply that it's less creative or original. And not all Fan-Art pics are just copied, actually it might take a lot of hours to make them, depending on the style and the source of inspiration (e.g. a fan art based on a movie like LotR).
just my thoughts :)
Oh well and I was quite shocked so many of you picked Photomanipulation and Space Art, since those were the main things I do, lol. :|

this whole discussion about art/not art reminds me alot about the discussions when photography first came up; took a long time until it was accepted as an artform

btw: lots of people think digital painting is no real painting either so...who cares^^
