For EvokeOne: "Voyage"This is a piece I created just for fun during my trip to Louisiana. My roommate had some experience with the freeware 3D software Blender and assisted me on my first steps. Creating planets and asteroids in Blender was so much easier than I thought.
I used a model by ~
dmaland as a base for the space station. Thank you!
I've added a wallpaper pack which contains the following resolutions (press download to the right):
1280 x 800 | 1440 x 900 | 1680 x 1050 | 1920 x 1080 | 1920 x 1200
In my experience these are the most frequently requested resolutions, but if you need a different version feel free to comment right here.

is a great responsability for anyone...but here i go
At the first moment my eyes are very pleased with the colors
Blue+purple, a very good combination in art and specially in the space-art.
The foreground: that spaceship and the rings plus the close asteroid give a nice sense of scale of this image.
Going more far, the others asteroids are very well done. The luminosity on them are very real.
The background: i know that you good with most of the elements "commons" in the spaceart, but this nebula is very very amazing. One of your best.
Starfiled is superb!
That far planet was placed nice too.
The middle ground: Space crafts , far rings, and the big planet. Well done. The color on the planet is good. I think that darkside could be less "dark", but that is an idea. The light in the top of the planet are very hot. the blaze are very nice too. About the texture...this part take my eyes in other direction. That big plate maybe is given another scale to the image. The ground is very blue too, maybe less color in it could help. the idea of the big plate wasn't bad, but maybe off for the rest of the scene.
I love moons, maybe more of them...
That upper light is very good too.
A very well done scene, form the darkness of the space to a light hole in a nebula , lost in space, in the middle of an "race" with some spaceships and rings..hahahah
ok, maybe it's my imagination right know

I love everything on it. The colours, the awesome Composition, the lights, the action and of course the story. Because of those little Spacestations and Ships it acutally looks like a scene from a movie. The asteroid field near of the blue homeplanet is the perfect place for young Space piolts to practise and train their skills. The big station is the home of those pilots. Those rings in the upper right part are doors to another galaxies and colonies of the home planet.
I just love what you did whith the nebula and the colors. The nebula is vell textured (or painted?) and looks like a nebula =JoeJesus could do (in my opinion he is one of the three best nebulacreators on deviantart). The Starfield is very shiny but also quite realistic and fits the whole piece more than just perfect.
Those asteroids and stations are also quite awesome, especially because you did them whith Blender(read my note
The only thing I don't like that lot is the texture of the planet. Sure, its very detailed but like `priteeboy said, you see too much details of the ground like a beach and so on for such a big planet.
But thats just a litte detail which isn't really necessary for the impact^^
PS: I hope everyone may understand my english and doesn't mind my grammatically fails
